| Aurum Montis is the largest province in Chaillot. Its borders were determined by nature's landmarks, as it rides along the entire western side of the Bespin River. This province is covered with dense mountain ranges, and long rolling hills for pasture. Majority of Chaillot's livestock comes from this part of the territory, including a variety of sheep, cattle, goats, and horses. The mountain air helps make it quite refreshing, and provides an added country feel to the large province. The further you head north, the bigger the mountains get in Aurum Montis. Historically, these earth titans have saved many natives from Tacean Invaders, as only locals know the ins and outs through them.
As there are many villages, and mountain towns throughout the province, the most important one is it's capital, Denloch. This old city resides in the northern tip of Chaillot, and is practically isolated from the rest of the province. The fishing in this capital is highly sought after, but most find the serenity to be enough here. While sharing woods with the forests of Navalor, Denloch is used as the ceremonial hub for Aurum Montis as majority of the Blood come here to make their offering to darkness. |
