Province Capital: Pann
Province Information |

Dantalion is the largest Province in Hayll but the most unpopulated. Most of the land consists of agricultural farmland and vineyards, with small villages and towns spread out, giving most of the inhabitants of Dantalion plenty of privacy. There are, however, several larger cities where trade coming from or going to Naemah stop by in Dantalion. If a Dantalan is in need of something that cannot be purchased at their local general store, they will likely travel to one of these cities.
The climate is perfect for agriculture in Dantalion, making it very important economically to the Territory, since much of the food that is in demand in the more populated areas of Hayll, like Naemah, comes from Dantalion. The land in Dantalion is especially suited to vineyards, making the Province very famous for its wine, which is the chief export from the Province to other Territories. Since agriculture is so important to the Province, Dantalion has the largest population of landens and Blood commoners in the Territory, since they are the ones that work the land. Most of the aristocracy in Dantalion either live on successful vineyards or plantations that are worked by others, or cluster in the large trade cities. Some aristocrats own businesses in the trade cities but choose to live in lavish villas in the country, and many of the aristocracy from the other Provinces of Hayll own country homes in Dantalion for when they want to get away from the hussle of city life and relax for a little while. The largest city in the Province is the capital, Pann, which is located in the Bacchus District and not far from the Naemah border. It is the main import-export hub of the Province, and with so much business and activity there, it has a very large population; much of the population of the entire Province is concentrated there. It is also the hub of the aristocracy in the Province, and houses many fine restaurants, theaters, museums, and dance halls for their entertainment. Tourists are drawn to the capital by its famous wine-tasting venues and its yearly Wine Festival that is held during the week of the season change from summer to autumn. On the north end of the capital is the entrance to the Chateau Prospero estate, which houses the Province Court. Chateau Prospero is a mansion of aristocratic elegance, one of the largest buildings in the Province, and its estate has a successful vineyard of its own as part of its grounds. |
