The BalDasarres have never really been very high on the foodchain among the Hundred Families. That's why when they saw a chance to raise their position a bit, by marrying off one of the sons of the family, Teo BalDasarre, to a DiCosma, they took it. The marriage into the DiCosmas created a loose alliances between the two Families, and with that association with one of Hayll's most prestigious of the Hundred, their ranking in the hierarchy rose quite a bit. The BalDasarres would never do anything the DiCosmas wouldn't approve of, so they form their alliances and enemies based on those of the DiCosmas. They are ranked number 40 amongst the Hundred Families. |
